This Fall, The Nu TV Network is premiering several Nu Exclusive series that you can only find on The Nu TV Network or The Nu like the award winning series “The Put Down” which is directed by the award winning Shonnie Jackson. The Put Down is a hilarious comedy about college student Kinecia, played by Dice Marie, and her friends whose traumatic dating lives make for incredible comedies. Set in Miami, Florida, the series features sexy girls and hot guys that are sure to make you laugh all season. Also new to the Nu along with The Put Down is part 2 of Season 1 of “Vigilant” the live action comedy from Evil Iguana Productions about Wayne a normal guy who dreams of being a superhero in his spare time and the real superheroes he meets while pretending to be a superhero. Lots of jokes and action is to be expected in the second half of the season as the first half proved to be exciting.
Other new Nu Exclusive series include the extremely popular action series “The Terms” which is premiering its 3rd season exclusively on the network, along with Torture, an action drama thriller out of Baltimore, Maryland, that critics are describing as “gritty” and “gripping”. Both series air on the action themed night #DoORDieFridays which is show to feel like a trip to the movies every Friday. Plus the newest addition to #AllAboutDramaTuesdays “OldHead” web series as been adapted for prime time audiences. Oldhead is a coming of age drama set in the heart of Philadelphia’s inner city and follows the struggles and triumphs of good kids on dark and lonely roads. This drama at its best and it airs right after Chip Reader at 9pm.
With the return of the famed DC Yuppies series season 2 and the always entertaining Nightlife series, the Nu is undisputedly the king of indie content.
